Producer Jon Landau has announced that Avatar 2 will resume filming after a brief period of self-quarantining.
Jake and Neytiri will share the spotlight with their children in the upcoming Avatar sequel.
The sequels will also feature new cast members Kate Winslet, Edie Falco, Vin Diesel and more
Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Kate Winslet, and Cliff Curtis take a break during filming in the latest BTS peak from Avatar 2.

Both high-profile projects are expected to debut in 2021
Avatar’s social media account has released new behind-the-scenes images of actors filming an underwater scene for the upcoming sequels.
The still features Landau together with Sigourney Weaver and Joel David Moore.
But they are still working on it.
Avatar 2 will hit theaters in December 2021.
The hiatus between Star Wars films will only last until 2022, as Disney plans to give both Avatar and Star Wars prime holiday slots.
