Warning: There are spoilers ahead for The Rise of Skywalker!
Star Wars fans headed to Disneyland or other Disney theme parks in the near future might want to stop by the Star Tours ride. That’s because Disney recently updated Star Tours with new locations based on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Disney’s park blog page recently provided details on the new planets featured in Star Tours. In the video below, Tom Fitzgerald, the portfolio creative executive for Disneyland Paris, provides an idea of what fans can expect to see.
Star Tours will be based exclusively around these The Rise of Skywalker locations for the next few months. The new planets include Kef Bir, the ocean world near Endor that has the Death Star wreckage from Return of the Jedi.
The Rise of Skywalker themed Star Tours will also feature Billy Dee Williams as General Lando Calrissian. A visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios managed to get a glimpse of his role in action during the video below. This clip also indicates that Star Tours will feature Exogol, another key location in The Rise of Skywalker.
Whether these will become permanent parts of Star Tours is unknown. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is in theaters now.
