Tom Holland May Have Spoiled The Odyssey’s Final Act Already

Tom Holland may have let slip a major clue about how The Odyssey concludes. During a recent interview with co-stars Matt Damon and Robert Pattinson, the actor appeared to reference a major scene from the film’s closing stages. This has prompted speculation that he may have given away an important plot point months before the highly anticipated film arrives in theaters.

Tom Holland gives potential spoilers for The Odyssey

Tom Holland may have accidentally revealed a major story detail from Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic The Odyssey. The actor, who stars as Telemachus in the adaptation, appeared to reveal information about an important late-film scene while discussing his experience working alongside co-star Matt Damon.

Holland’s comments came during a recent GQ interview featuring Damon and Robert Pattinson. While reflecting on Damon’s performance, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day star referenced what he described as a lengthy emotional scene involving Anne Hathaway.

“Something I saw you do, and it’s when you did your big scene with Anne [Hathaway] towards the end of the movie. It’s like a 9-minute scene. You’re lying there in tears,” Holland told Damon.

The remarks have quickly gained traction online because they appear to confirm that Damon’s Odysseus shares a major reunion scene with Hathaway’s character near the conclusion of the film. Holland also suggested that Nolan has added new material to the story. While discussing one of the film’s action scenes, the actor revealed that he and Damon shared a major fight scene set inside a cave.

“I found that in that fight scene we did in the cave… I’d been rehearsing it for weeks. My character is supposed to be winging it for most of the time,” the actor explained. Despite Holland’s comments, plot details remain largely under wraps.

The Odyssey features an ensemble cast that includes Damon, Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, and Anne Hathaway. It is set to open in IMAX theaters on July 17, 2026.
