When Will Rick and Morty Season 8 Stream on Hulu & Max?

Wondering when Rick and Morty Season 8 will be available to stream on HBO Max and Hulu? With new episodes airing weekly and the finale fast approaching, fans are eager to binge the full season online. As Adult Swim wraps up its latest run, streaming platforms are preparing to add the complete set of episodes.

Here’s when Rick and Morty Season 8 starts streaming on HBO Max and Hulu.

Here’s when Rick and Morty Season 8 begins streaming on Hulu and HBO Max

Rick and Morty Season 8 will begin streaming on HBO Max and Hulu on September 1, 2025, five weeks after the final episode airs on Adult Swim. The entire 10-episode season will be available for streaming at once, following the platform’s established post-season release strategy.

Adult Swim premiered Season 8 on May 25, 2025, and continues to release new episodes weekly. The network will air the season finale, “Hot Rick,” on July 27, 2025. This release schedule mirrors Season 7, which ended on December 17, 2023, and reached streaming platforms on January 22, 2024.

The upcoming streaming release will feature all 10 episodes, starting with the premiere “Summer of All Fears.” Season 8 moves forward without co-creator Justin Roiland, whom the network removed in 2023. Ian Cardoni voices Rick, and Harry Belden returns as the voice of Morty.

Adult Swim first announced the September 1, 2025 streaming date in a teaser released on March 31, 2025. The delay between broadcast and streaming follows the show’s usual strategy. It ensures viewers can watch the full season as a complete package on HBO Max and Hulu.

Adult Swim confirmed a 70-episode order in 2018. The show has aired 40 of those episodes across Seasons 4 to 7. Season 8 continues that deal as the next installment. In October 2024, the network renewed the series through Season 12, adding 20 more episodes.

Rick and Morty Season 8 keeps the standard half-hour format. Adult Swim airs one new episode each week before the season moves to HBO Max and Hulu in September.
