Marvel Releases The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s Zemo Cut Dance

Last week, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier officially reintroduced Daniel Brühl’s Helmut Zemo to the MCU. For the first time, it was firmly established that he is a Baron, much like his comic book counterpart. Regardless, few could have predicted Baron Zemo’s newfound fandom thanks to the episode’s dance sequence.

While Falcon and Winter Soldier killed time at Sharon Carter’s party in Madripoor, Zemo took to the dance floor. That scene instantly became a meme. Additionally, Brühl recently told Entertainment Weekly “It was a long dance. There’s more to it, but they cut this little moment [for the show].” That led to fans clamoring for “the Zemo Cut.” Now, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have released the so-called Zemo Cut dance sequence. Or at least more footage from it.

Zemo revealed that he has a surprising taste for culture in the latest episode. Sam Wilson was particularly amazed that Zemo had an appreciation for Trouble Man, which Bucky Barnes doesn’t share. Regardless, neither Sam nor Bucky should turn their backs on Zemo. It’s inevitable that he will betray them as soon as their interests no longer align.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘s first three episodes are on Disney+. The fourth episode will debut on Friday, April 9.
