The runtime for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has seemingly been confirmed. The highly anticipated MCU movie arrives in United States theaters next month.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, also known as Spider-Man 4, is being released in July. Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Wonder Man’s Destin Daniel Cretton, the film will once again see Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
What is the runtime for Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
Last week, reports began emerging that Spider-Man: Brand New Day would have a two-hour and 30-minute runtime. Now, AMC Theatres has supposedly confirmed this is true, as the company has updated its page for Spider-Man 4 and listed its runtime as 150 minutes.
Unless this were to change, this would mean that Brand New Day will technically be the longest MCU Spider-Man movie, though not by much. Spider-Man: No Way Home came in just shy of the 2.5-hour mark, as its official runtime is 148 minutes. Spider-Man: Homecoming, meanwhile, is 133 minutes long, while Spider-Man: Far From Home clocks in at 129 minutes.
The synopsis for Spider-Man 4 reads, “After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves.
