How is Peacemaker’s Earth X different from Superman’s DCU Earth?
Earth X is an alternate reality that has appeared in DC comics multiple times in the past. In this reality, the Nazis won World War II, and it changed the course of history forever. It seems that in this parallel reality, the White Dragon and his sons are not very different from their DCU Earth counterparts. White Dragon is still a White Supremacist, but the world around them is different, with people rooting for White Supremacy. One thing still different is that Auggie Smith is not so resentful of his sons on Earth X, rather, he is gentle with them.
Since the first time Peacemaker entered the alternate universe, fans have noticed some peculiar things about the world. One of the standout things was how it lacked diversity. Some even speculated that it could be Earth X from the comics. It now seems that this is the case.
In this alternate reality, even ARGUS is led by Nazis. It seems that the entire world is different from DCU’s Earth, and the White Dragon and his sons are heroes because their racist beliefs are not uncommon in that world. Rather, the world respects them for it. Further, Vigilante and Peacemaker do not get along in this reality.
Earth X has long been a part of DC’s lore, especially because of the fascinating possibilities it proposes. This variation of alternate history, where Nazis won World War II, has been explored in several forms of media over the years, and it seems that Peacemaker season 2 also has some big plans with it.
