Man of Tomorrow just added a surprise Peacemaker character nobody saw coming. James Gunn’s Superman sequel continues to grow its roster with an unexpected deep-cut DC villain.
White Rabbit rumored to return in Superman follow-up, Man of Tomorrow
Insider Daniel Richtman has shared a new rumor about DC Studios’ upcoming Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow. According to RPK, Peacemaker star Brey Noelle will reprise her role as White Rabbit in the film. The character last appeared in Peacemaker Season 2, where she auditioned for the Justice Gang.
White Rabbit’s audition did not go well during that season. Guy Gardner ridiculed her costume, and the team ultimately rejected her application. Her role in Man of Tomorrow remains unclear at this stage.
This casting addition follows the recent confirmation that Xolo Maridueña will return as Blue Beetle. Director James Gunn continues to populate the DCU with lesser-known heroes and villains. The sequel already features an expansive ensemble cast across multiple superhero properties.
David Corenswet leads the film as Clark Kent/Superman, with Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Lars Eidinger plays Brainiac, while Rachel Brosnahan returns as Lois Lane. Aaron Pierre and Nathan Fillion portray John Stewart and Guy Gardner, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Wonder Woman casting situation remains unresolved. Former scooper @ApocHorseman recently doubled down on Adria Arjona playing Maxima, not Diana Prince. Trade reports initially suggested Arjona would likely play Maxima despite fan hopes.
“I follow Adria on Instagram, but everybody came out and thought, ‘He just followed her, that means she’s Wonder Woman,'” Gunn said. “She was in a movie that I made seven years ago. We’ve been friends and have known each other since that time.”
Speculation also links Eva De Dominici to a potential Wonder Woman role. The sequel may ultimately feature neither Wonder Woman nor Batman in its story. Man of Tomorrow arrives in theaters on July 9, 2027.
