With The Social Network returning to theaters this Friday, arriving on DVD and Blu-ray next week and destined to remain a hot topic through Oscar season, Andrew Garfield has been making the interview rounds. His latest comments appear on the Los Angeles Times website, where he drops a few more details about the upcoming Spider-Man reboot.
"[T]he overriding theme of the comic is: With great power comes great responsibility," Garfield told the outlet, "And, yes, I feel a huge sense of pressure and responsibility."
Garfield went on to talk a little about the two weeks of filming that he completed prior to a break for the holidays.
"The first week was full of stunts," he said, "and I've never felt happier in my whole life. I'm all bruised and scratched up, and it feels really good. It's just me throwing myself up against walls, which is incredibly fun and painful and testing my manhood. It's a childhood fantasy I'm living out."
Spider-Man is set for release on July 3, 2012.
