Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 English cast wants finale to release in theaters
Jujutsu Kaisen will return in January 2026 with Season 3, and the English voice cast hopes to bring the finale to theaters like Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. The anime, produced by MAPPA, follows sorcerers who use Cursed Energy to exorcise malevolent spirits. The franchise has over 100 million manga copies in circulation. It was also recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s most in-demand animated show.
At New York Comic Con 2025, The Direct spoke with voice actors Adam McArthur (Yuji Itadori), Robbie Daymond (Megumi Fushiguro), Anne Yatco (Nobara Kugisaki), Kaiji Tang (Satoru Gojo), and Kayleigh McKee (Yuta Okkotsu). Tang said, “We’ve seen how successful these anime films can be now, with the proper hype and advertisement. There’s a real hunger in the audience for seeing the culmination of years of stories on a big screen.” McArthur added, “Kaiji and I have already shown that we can take a movie to 600 million at the box office. So how do we do it again?”
The upcoming season adapts The Culling Game arc. McArthur shared, “The world expands so much more. There’s so many fight scenes… MAPPA’s always cooking. We’re going to have so much more awesome stuff.”
Voice actors also discussed the technical and creative challenges of dubbing. Yatco noted, “Localization is a collaborative process,” while Tang revealed an improvised Gojo line that “made it into the final.”
A new teaser, Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution, premieres December 5, featuring The Shibuya Incident recap and first episodes of The Culling Game: Part 1. Season 3 officially streams on Crunchyroll in January 2026.
