The number of post-credits scenes in the 6th Scary Movie film has been revealed ahead of the film’s theatrical release. Most of the earlier titles in the franchise didn’t feature additional scenes. However, the latest entry has taken a modern approach.

How many post-credits scenes does Scary Movie 6 have?
The upcoming Scary Movie has two mid-credits scenes and no post/end-credits scenes. The number of scenes is not a surprise, since most modern movies feature at least one bonus scene. These scenes are not hints at potential sequels, but rather hilarious gags.
The first scene features a parody trailer for Nosferatu, a 2024 horror movie that was a remake of the 1922 classic, called Brosferatu. The second mid-credits scene is a parody of the interrogation scene from the 2024 Nicolas Cage horror film Longlegs.
The film will debut in theaters on Friday, June 5, 2026. It is the franchise’s first movie in over 13 years. It reunites the characters from the original movie as they come face-to-face with a new slasher, 26 years after they survived a masked killer similar to Scream’s Ghostface. As with earlier entries, the film is a parody that draws inspiration from other popular horror movies, particularly the Scream franchise.
Michael Tiddes directed the film, with a script by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans, and Rick Alvarez. The movie’s cast features Marlon, Shawn, Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Kenan Thompson, Dave Sheridan, and Lochlyn Munro, among others.
The Wayans Brothers co-produced the film under their company, Wayans Bros. Entertainment, in collaboration with Miramax, replacing the franchise’s previous studio, Brad Grey Pictures. Meanwhile, Paramount Pictures is handling the movie’s distribution in both domestic and international markets.
Early reviews are out, revealing a mixed-to-positive reception. On IMDb, it currently has a score of 6.2/10. Made on a reported budget of $30 million, the film may be looking at a $40 million domestic and $70 million worldwide opening at the box office, per Deadline.
