Raven and Stephen Amell Join the Roster of Injustice: Gods Among Us!

The roster for Neatherrealm Studios DC fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us continues to grow. Yesterday, the Superman-killing Doomsday was confirmed for the game, and today the mystical Raven has been added to the game’s roster. Most well known as being a member of the Teen Titans, Raven first appeared in “DC Comics Presents” in 1980. Raven’s powers include telekinesis, teleportation, and absorbing people’s emotions for combat. Check out the reveal trailer for the character below.

Also confirmed for the game (via TV Guide) is that Arrow star Stephen Amell will appear in the game. A common thing in fighting games are different ‘skins’ for the playable characters and Amell’s likeness from the CW’s Arrow will appear as an alternate skin for Green Arrow. Along with this, Amell will provide his voice for the character in the game.

“Gods Among Us” debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Deathstroke, Solomon Grundy, Superman, Lex Luthor, The Flash, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Bane, Catwoman, Shazam, the Joker, Doomsday and more. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale.

The game will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on April 16 in North America and April 19 in Europe.
