More rumors about the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday are making the rounds, including what to expect from the multiversal aspect of the film and how it relates to Channing Tatum’s Gambit.
What is the latest Avengers: Doomsday rumor?
According to a new report from QuidVacuo, Doomsday will show that Tatum’s Gambit is housed within the same universe as the one introduced in the post-credits of The Marvels. In The Marvels, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) wakes up in a parallel universe to find Binary and X-Men’s Beast.
The rumor doesn’t mention much else about how the film might incorporate these universes. Several actors from past X-Men films have already been confirmed to appear in the movie, so Marvel Studios could be planning to reunite them all alongside Gambit for a proper team.
A ton of actors have been confirmed to be a part of Doomsday. These include Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Vanessa Kirby’s Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright’s Shuri/Black Panther, and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man.
