Gen V Season 2, Episode 5 showcased that Marie Moreau’s power goes beyond just using blood as a weapon. This revelation adds more fuel to the theory that she could be the strongest supe in The Boys universe. Furthermore, she could be the one to kill Homelander.
Here’s what happened in the latest episode.

Gen V Season 2 Episode 5 might have made Marie stronger than Homelander
With Gen V Season 2 Episode 5, “The Kids Are Not All Right”, the show is building up Marie’s powers to an extent that could prove to be more powerful than Homelander’s.
Following the event of the previous episode’s ending, Cate was sent to Elmira for trying to spy on Dean Cipher. After learning about it, Marie, Emma, and Jordan try to rescue her from the facility. However, this was a trap set by Cipher to capture all three.
After capturing them, Cipher reveals to Marie that he has her sister Annabeth, who is also being held captive in the same facility. He takes Marie to Annabeth and offers to release both of them only if she agrees to train under him. He is still determined to train her to ensure that she reaches her full potential. So, he gives her time to think about the terms.
Later, when Cate manages to influence a guard and secure the keys, she frees herself and the rest of the pack. As soon as Marie gets released, she runs to save her sister. But to everyone’s horror, Annabeth was lying on the floor, dead. In response to the shock, Marie uses her powers, which causes others to bleed from their nose and even suffer from a massive headache. But on the other hand, it heals Annabeth’s slit throat, bringing her back to life.
This proves that Marie can not only use blood as a physical weapon, but also control it with a deeper impact. Considering that Homlander is a human despite his powers, this newfound ability could be just the thing to kill him. Additionally, if she controls her powers, she could infinitely heal everyone on the battlefield.
