For the last of our interviews from the NYC junket for Sony Pictures' sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2, we have the two stars of the movie, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, reprising their roles as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.
There's no denying the chemistry between the two actors and their characters is what really made the previous movie so special both from the comics and previous movies and that continues into this new movie as well. Unfortunately, they did all their interviews separately so you'll just have to take our word for it.
In the video interview below, Garfield talks about what he wanted to bring to Peter Parker and Spider-Man this time around and the difference between getting the gig to play those roles on the first movie without having a finished script compared to being more actively involved with that process leading into the sequel for which they had a script before shooting.
Each of the actors also talk into what went into the movie's action scenes, which most feel are better than many of the previous Spider-Man movies, and Stone talks briefly about working with some of the other high-profile directors she's been working with in the last year like Woody Allen (Magic in the Moonlight), Alejandro Inaritu (Birdman) and Cameron Crowe.
Lastly, Garfield talks about returning for another movie, although he's not at a point where he wants to commit to how many more movies he wants to do, because he's still excited and honored to be able to play the role.
