Genevieve Angelson Joins DC Universe’s Titans For Season 2

The upcoming second season of Titans is adding a few new heroes, including Joshua Orpin as Superboy. But the latest addition to the cast is someone who may have ties to Superboy’s creation. Deadline is reporting that Genevieve Angelson has joined Titans season 2 as Dr. Eve Watson.

Watson is described in the report as “a research doctor with conflicted feelings about her recent work at Cadmus Laboratories, the genetic engineering hub known in DC Comics mythology as the birthplace of the clone called Superboy.” She may have even played a role in creating Superboy.

Angelson is best known for her starring role in Amazon’s Good Girls Revolt. She also had starring roles on Flack and Backstrom. Her other credits include The Upside, Instinct, and House of Lies.

The other major additions this season include Iain Clen as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Esai Morales is also joining the cast as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, with Chelsea Zhang as his daughter, Rose Wilson/Ravager. Chella Man will portray Slade’s son, Joseph Wilson/Jericho.

Natalie Gumede has also signed on as Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor’s bodyguard and right-hand woman. Additionally, Drew Van Acker will play Garth/Aqualad, one of the founding members of the Titans.

Titans season 2 is will hit DC Universe later this year.
