Disney teased last year that they were mulling over all the possibilities for including Marvel characters into their theme parks and we got the first taste of it this past April when Tony Stark's Hall of Armors made its way to Disneyland. Since then, the company has revealed plans to incorporate "Avengers" areas into one of their upcoming cruise lines, including an opporunity to meet with Captain America.
Now comes another exciting announcement as Disney has revealed the God of Thunder himself, Thor, will be making his debut at Disneyland this November. No more details were given beyond the November time table, which will coincide with the release of Thor: The Dark World, but they note more announcements will be made next month. Disney also revealed that Loki unfortunately won't be making the trip from Asgard with his brother.
Hitting 2D, 3D, and IMAX theaters on November 8th, the Alan Taylor directed Thor: The Dark World stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins.
