SuperHeroHype with the launch trailer for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, hitting stores on September 7th. You can watch the trailer below!

The game is a thrilling action-packed adventure set in four dramatically different universes from legendary Spider-Man lore, each with a distinct Spider-Man armed with unique skills and strengths, in one original storyline.  Players will be transported to new locations never before seen in a Spider-Man game, from lush jungles and dusty deserts to various urban terrains.  Acclaimed Marvel comic book writer Dan Slott takes players on a mission to contain the magical energy of the Tablet of Order and Chaos, which has been shattered and sent hurtling across parallel universes, and battle fan-favorite villains in a quest to restore the fabric of reality.

Wow. Just........Wow.

I'm not really a gamer, (I'm quite awful), especially since I've got a 5 & 3 year old now (though I can help my daughter out with 'Go, Diego, Go' on the Wii when she needs it).

I haven't played anything like this since the 1st Spidey game for PS2 but that's tempting.

Can't wait for this game...just don't know if its worth buying or renting...anyone know what kind of collectibles will be in ther game? Is there enough hidden stuff to make me want to have a second go-through?

wow this game has the largest selection of spiderman villains out of any of the previous games. scorpion, hobgoblin, green goblin, vulture, hammer head, Kraven, Sandman, Juggernaut, Carnage, Mysterio. i cant wait

agreed...DEADPOOL!!! my only concern is that I just hope it doesnt end up being another terrible spiderman game. its going to be tough beating up DP, though.
