Meet the All-New, All-Different Avengers Coming to Marvel Comics

Though Marvel Comics is gearing up for their big summer event, Secret Wars, they’re also looking to the future of what will be the Marvel Universe after the world-smashing event concludes. With that in mind, they’ve decided to finally reveal (via Wired) their “All-New, All-Different Avengers” that will be debuting this May on Free Comic Book Day which you can check out below. The new iteration of the team is set to feature Sam Wilson as the All-New Captain America, the female Thor, “an” Iron Man, The Vision, Kamela Khan the new Ms. Marvel, Sam Alexander the new Nova and Miles Morales, the Ultimate Spider-Man!

“It’s an All-New, All-Different Avengers for an All-New, All-Different Marvel Universe!” Tom Brevoort, Marvel’s senior vice president and executive editor said. “So throw out your preconceptions about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as we change the game, rewrite the rules and destroy childhoods with an Avengers team that more closely reflects the world outside your window!”

Additionally, the cover to the Free Comic Book Day edition of Uncanny Inhumans was released revealing that book’s central team of Queen Medusa, Triton, Inferno, Iso, Naja, and a surprise addition, Johnny Storm, the Human Torch from the Fantastic Four!

“It’s fitting that the first Marvel hero to encounter the Inhumans is joining up with them,” said Nick Lowe, senior editor at Marvel. “Johnny Storm is one of the best characters in the Marvel U and he’s shaking up the Inhumans side of the Marvel U in a big way. Just wait until you see the last page!”

Mark Waid will write the All-New, All-Different Avengers, with art by Mahmud Asrar and colors by Linda Martin. Charles Soule is set to pen Uncanny Inhumans.
