A new Vision Quest update for Marvel Studios’ upcoming WandaVision spin-off has surfaced online. This comes after the Disney+ show had officially wrapped up its production last July.
What is the new Vision Quest update?
Rumors about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennet’s return as Daisy Johnson/Quake reignited last May after scooper MyTimeToShineHello previously hinted at her potential comeback. Since the ABC show concluded its seven-season run in 2020, some fans have long expressed their desire to see Bennet’s Quake become a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Now, in a new report by MyTimeToShineHello, it seems like Vision Quest isn’t the MCU project that would bring back Bennet’s fan-favorite Marvel character. The insider claimed that Bennet is “unfortunately” not part of the Vision Quest cast. At the moment, it remains unknown if Marvel Studios has any plans to bring back cast members from Marvel shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Vision Quest is written and directed by showrunner Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard), who is also serving as an executive producer. It is set to feature the return of Paul Bettany, reprising his role as White Vision. This comes after the successful series launch of Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha All Along show, which currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes.
So far, the ensemble cast also includes Emily Hampshire as the voice of E.D.I.T.H., T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, Ruaridh Mollica as Tucker, and Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., along with returning MCU stars James Spader as Ultron and Faran Tahir as Raza. Recent rumors suggested that Mollica might actually be playing Wanda and Vision’s son Tommy Maximoff/Speed, who was originally played by Jett Klyne in WandaVision.
