More information about the upcoming Disney+ series Vision Quest has made its way online. Notably, a rumor about the show’s plot and who Vision will meet in the show.
What is the latest Vision Quest rumor?
According to a recent report from noted insider Daniel Richtman, Vision Quest will feature, in part, a storyline where “White Vision” travels to Madripoor, a fictional island in the world of Marvel. While Vision is searching for his memories and how to restore them, he will meet Ultron, but in human form.
The rumor doesn’t expand on how Ultron would be in a human form or how he’ll be presented. However, we do know that James Spader will be back as the character for the series. Past rumors from The Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez also suggested that several story elements from Armor Wars were transferred to Vision Quest, potentially explaining this new storyline.
Previously, Richtmant (better known as DanielRPK) recently said that Ruaridh Mollica is who Marvel Studios has tapped to play the role of Tommy Maximoff, also known by his superhero name Speed, in the series. Tommy is the older twin brother to Billy Maximoff (who is played by Joe Locke in his older form), and the son of Wanda Maximoff and Vision.

Initial reports on Vision Quest were unclear if the series would adapt the actual comic book storyline from the Vision Quest comic series, or simply continue the ongoing story of Vision that’s been building in throughout the MCU. The last time fans saw Vision was in the closing episodes of the Disney+ series WandaVision, which saw the Vision being dismantled and reassembled in a new, white body, which disappeared shortly before the season’s finale.
The exact cast of Vision Quest is unknown, but the series is expected to feature Paul Bettany’s Vision, James Spader as Ultron, Faran Tahir, and more.
