VisionQuest’s release date has officially been revealed. After some waiting, fans finally know when they can expect the end of Marvel’s Disney+ trilogy.
When is the VisionQuest release date?
During Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con 2026 panel, the studio opened up with some talk about VisionQuest. Although Kevin Feige didn’t dive too deep into the world of Marvel’s TV slate, he did reveal VisionQuest will release on Disney+ on October 14, 2026.
The series’ premiere will mark the end of Disney+’s trilogy centered around Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), which also comprises 2021’s WandaVision and 2024’s Agatha All Along. It’s unclear what the future will hold for both Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision, though.
VisionQuest is set to star Paul Bettany as he reprises his role as Vision, and will also see James Spader return as Ultron. Other stars in the series include Todd Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, Orla Brady, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and James D’Arcy.
Initial reports on Vision Quest were unclear on whether the series would adapt the actual comic book storyline from the Vision Quest comic series, or simply continue the ongoing story of Vision that’s been building throughout the MCU. The last time fans saw Vision was in the closing episodes of the Disney+ series WandaVision, which saw the Vision being dismantled and reassembled in a new, white body, which disappeared shortly before the season’s finale.
