Marvel Studios’ Vision Quest has received a brand new update regarding the Disney+ show’s potential release date window. Production on the WandaVision spin-off was completed last July.
When is the possible release date window for Vision Quest?
According to The Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez, Marvel Studios is reportedly planning to release Vision Quest around “mid to late 2026, possibly.” He claimed that the show might debut after the theatrical release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, 2026. It could also potentially premiere right before Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026.
In addition, when asked about the real identity of Ruaridh Mollica’s character in Vision Quest, Perez teased that Mollica is indeed “Tommy Maximoff’s reincarnation.” When Mollica’s casting was first announced, it was revealed that he would be playing a character named Tucker. Tommy Maximoff/Speed was originally played by Jett Klyne in WandaVision.
Vision Quest is written and directed by showrunner Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard), who is also serving as an executive producer. It is set to feature the return of Paul Bettany, reprising his role as White Vision. So far, the ensemble cast also includes Emily Hampshire as the voice of E.D.I.T.H., T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, and Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., along with returning MCU stars James Spader as Ultron and Faran Tahir as Raza. This comes after the successful series launch of Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha All Along show, which currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes.
