Joshua Orpin Teases Trouble For Superboy In Titans Season 3

In just two months, the third season of Titans will get underway. And it looks like there’s big trouble ahead for Conner/Superboy. Via Bleeding Cool, actor Joshua Orpin shared an Instagram story that showed his character on a wanted poster. Additionally, the poster noted that Superboy can be brought in “Dead or Alive.”

Conner had a few run-ins with the law during Titans season 2. However, that was to be expected, given his lack of life experience. He is the clone of Superman and Lex Luthor, and he also seems to have some memories from both men. Before he was taken in by the Titans, Conner clashed with the police simply because he didn’t know any better. That may be one reason why he’s wanted again.

However, it’s also a possibility that Conner may be wanted for what he did under the influence of Cadmus and Mercy Graves. Mercy brainwashed Conner and ordered him to kill before the Titans helped him break free. Alternately, Conner’s susceptibility to mental manipulation could mean that he will lose control again. But we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.

Titans season 3 will hit HBO Max in August.
