Marvel’s Loki TV Series Adds Richard E. Grant To the Cast

Next year, Tom Hiddleston will reprise his iconic role on the Loki original series Disney+. Now, another veteran actor has been added to the cast of that show. Via The Wrap, Richard E. Grant has joined Loki in an unspecified role. Grant was most recently seen as Allegiant General Pryde in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. He has also appeared in Logan, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

However, Grant’s career spans nearly four decades and includes acclaimed roles in How to Get Ahead in Advertising, The Player, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Age of Innocence, and Gosford Park.

Grant and Hiddleston will also be joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sophia Di Martino. Very few details about the show have been revealed. But the footage from Disney+’s Super Bowl add suggests that Loki may be a captive of the Time Variance Authority. In Marvel’s comics, the TVA attempts to police the various timelines of the multiverse.
