After a one week hiatus, The Flash has returned with a new episode. In “Death of the Speed Force,” the titular hero discovered that something was off with the Speed Force. Together with a returning Wally West, Flash had to investigate the distressing new mystery while trying to stop a new and more powerful version of Turtle. The Crisis on Infinite Earths events worked miracles on the latter and she developed the power to turn people into aged mummies.
The latest episode of the show also featured the return of Reverse-Flash, who took over the mind and body of Harrison Nash. Eobard Thawne’s mission is to take care of the titular hero once and for all, and it appears that in the next episode the two will lock horns. Given that the Speed Force is dead, Barry is working together with his team to build an artificial one and restore his speed, and it seems that he wouldn’t mind taking some speed busters.
