Supergirl Season 2 Clip Introduces the Man of Steel to the Series

Supergirl season 2 clip introduces the Man of Steel to the series

The first Supergirl Season 2 clip has arrived from The CW and introduces us to Tyler Hoechlin’s Clark Kent/Superman! Check it out in the player below (via EW) along with a new sizzle reel for The CW featuring some of the other DC heroes.

Titled “The Adventures of Supergirl,” the Season 2 premiere of the series is described as follows:

“When a new threat emerges in National City, Kara/Supergirl teams up with her cousin, Clark Kent/Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin), to stop it. Kara is thrilled to have family in town but it leaves Alex feeling a bit left out. Meanwhile, Hank and Supergirl are stunned by the pod that came crashing to Earth.”

Benoist leads the cast of Supergirl as the title character alongside Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater. Supergirl season two is also adding recurring roles for Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Floriana Lima as Maggie Sawyer, and Lynda Carter as the President of the United States.
