James Frain Joins Gotham as Half of a New Villain Duo

Deadline brings word that “The Tudors” and “True Blood” star James Frain has joined the cast of “Gotham” as half of a brand new villain duo. Frain will play billionaire industrialist Theo Galavan, whose sister Tabitha, yet to be cast, will go on to become the “Gotham” version of the villain Tigress. The outlet reports the pair will bring chaos and violence with them to the streets of Gotham, which will lead to the creation of other DC villains.

“Gotham” is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), “Gotham” follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time. The series stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, Zabryna Guevara, Cory Michael Smith, Victoria Cartagena, Andrew Stewart Jones, and John Doman.

“Gotham” airs Mondays on FOX. You can catch up on the first entire season of “Gotham” by reading our recaps by clicking here.
