With that, it has surpassed the previous record set by Avengers: Endgame. In 2019, the box office juggernaut made $60 million from its Thursday previews.
Brand New Day has also left behind 2021’s No Way Home’s Thursday preview earnings of $50 million. Interestingly, the latest installment is expected to establish even more box office milestones by the end of its first weekend.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to generate a whopping domestic opening weekend ranging between $260 million and $280 million. That’s according to revised projections that have only increased leading up to the movie’s anticipated release on July 31, 2026.
Now that the details for previews are out, it’s obvious that Brand New Day will likely smash the competition to emerge as an undisputed winner this weekend.
If it ends up making more than $260 million in North America, Brand New Day will beat No Way Home’s previous domestic opening-week milestone of $260 million. The record belongs to Avengers: Endgame, which made $357 million in its first weekend.
While it’s not confirmed, some analysts believe that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 could cross the $300 million barrier in the opening domestic weekend itself. However, all the unverified reports and speculations should be taken with a grain of salt at the moment.
Brand New Day’s international opening weekend predictions are also insane. It’s expected to generate between $275 million and $300 million from overseas markets. It means the movie has a chance to make close to $500 million worldwide in just the opening weekend.
Besides Holland in the leading role, the cast also features Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, and Jon Bernthal, among others.
