Who stars in Superman: Legacy?

David Corenswet is playing Superman/Clark Kent in the forthcoming movie, while Rachel Brosnahan is playing Lois Lane. The cast also includes Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific.

Terence Rosemore is pictured between Corenswet and Hoult in the photo and, according to the post, appears to be playing Otis in the movie. Rosemore previously played supporting roles in 2017’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, 2023’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and 2021’s The Suicide Squad, all of which were directed by Gunn.

Superman: Legacy will be the first feature film in Gunn and Safran’s DCU. The new shared universe officially kicks off later this year with an animated Creature Commandos series starring Frank Grillo, Maria Bakalova, Indira Varma, Zoë Chao, Alan Tudyk, David Harbour, Sean Gunn, and Steve Agee.

Sean Gunn is also playing Maxwell Lord in the DCU, though it’s unclear when the character will make his debut. Milly Alcock, meanwhile, has been cast as Kara Zor-El and will star in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which is being written by Ana Nogueira.

With the movie scheduled to begin filming in March 2023, Superman: Legacy flies into United States theaters on July 11, 2025.
