Although Natasha Romanoff’s story came to a close in Avengers: Endgame, Black Widow is going to dive into some previously unexplored aspects of her life. But according to Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, the film will also shed some light on what Natasha was doing in-between the other MCU movies.
Via ScreenRant, Feige told TotalFilm that Marvel has “hinted at [Natasha’s backstory] throughout all the other films…We approach it in a completely unexpected way. She’s been up to a lot all along – in between when we see her in the other movies – some of which will be surprising to people.”

Additionally, Rachel Weisz co-stars as Melina Vostokoff, the woman who trained both Black Widows. William Hurt will also reprise his role as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.
