A different Demon Slayer Infinity Castle popcorn bucket, or more specifically a popcorn tin, has been revealed at the theater chain MegaPlex. Fans of the upcoming Kimetsu No Yaiba 2025 anime movie have been wondering what kind of collectibles would be available in the USA given the film’s overwhelming success in Japan. The movie’s popcorn buckets in theaters there and in other Asian territories have been rather impressive. The embossed blue bucket and cup that were revealed at Cinemark earlier this week look alright, but this new tin is more interesting and a bit pricier.
How much is the Demon Slayer 2025 popcorn bucket at Megaplex?
The new Demon Slayer 2025 popcorn bucket at Megaplex called the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle Popcorn Tin” costs $25.99. The tin is available for sale now, so you don’t have to worry about waiting for a release date, and is ready to be shipped before the movie’s nationwide release on September 12 (at least while supplies last).
The official description for this popcorn tin is barebones to say the least, but there are a few details we can extract. The bucket is rectangular in structure and has several side panels. One shows the Demon Slayer logo in between two sets of Japanese shoji screens, while two other panels have six pictures of characters from the movie (for a total of 12 characters). It’s unclear if other theaters will be offering this tin in their stores as well, though Megaplex doesn’t say that this is exclusive.
We suspect that this tin might not be made out of metal, since Megaplex tends to describe its buckets as “tins” in general. It also calls the blue round popcorn bucket a “tin” (which costs $19.99 by the way), and that looks like it’s made out of plastic. In addition, the product description shares that the tin is hand wash only.
The title of the item doesn’t say how large the popcorn bucket is, but the URL suggests that it’s big enough to fill 130 ounces. This should be large enough for the free medium popcorn refill voucher that comes with a purchase of the tin.
