Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Popcorn Bucket and Cup at Cinemark Price & Release Date Explained [Update]

The first official Demon Slayer Infinity Castle popcorn bucket and cup in the US has been unveiled at Cinemark, and many fans of the anime are wondering about the price and release date for the collectible combo. This reveal is a bit of a surprise, because we originally predicted that AMC would be the first to unveil a special popcorn container for the movie (not that it won’t eventually), but we’re still in the early stages when it comes to the promotion for the film, which comes out in US theaters in September. Here’s what we know so far about the estimated release and cost for the Demon Slayer popcorn bucket at Cinemark Theatres.

What is the release date and price for Cinemark’s Demon Slayer popcorn bucket and cup combo?

[Update: The Demon Slayer popcorn bucket from Cinemark is available now. Cinemark has revealed on Instagram that the 130-ounce tin will only cost $15, while the 44-ounce cup will be $7.75. Purchasing them together will cost $21.95.]

[Original] The release date for Cinemark’s popcorn bucket and cup for Demon Slayer Infinity Castle is estimated to be September 9 at the latest. The price for the collectible combo should be somewhere in the $30 to $40 range.

We should note that these are not the official release date and price for the items, as Cinemark has yet to announce them. The theater chain revealed the special collectibles for the upcoming Demon Slayer 2025 movie in an August 15 post on Instagram, saying that they “are COMING SOON to slay.” When users asked when they would be available, Cinemark said to “stay tuned.”

The glossy popcorn bucket features embossed official art from the movie, while the cup looks to have printed art around its side. The video sadly shows a lid and a red straw for the cup that doesn’t seem to fit. And of course this US bucket doesn’t really compare to the film’s special limited-edition Japanese bucket, but at least it’s something.

Crunchyroll and Fandango have revealed that fans with higher-tier Crunchyroll subscriptions would be able to purchase tickets for the movie for September 9, a few days before the nationwide release of September 12. Included among the roughly 250 theaters participating in this early screening is Cinemark, so we expect that this popcorn bucket and cup will be, bare mininum, available for sale at that time. That said, it’s possible that the chain will offer the combo for pre-order a few days or a week earlier than that, so we recommend checking its official storefront then.

The closest item to the combo that’s in the Cinemark store is the Jung Kook popcorn bucket and tumbler that costs $30.95 (though it’s 25% off when we last checked). That’s why we’ve gone with the $30-$40 range here, but given the possible licensing fees for the Demon Slayer artwork, it could cost more.
