The upcoming chapter is expected to be titled “Those who were once enemies.” The manga’s new chapter features the arrival of Mars and the Diamond Kingdom mages, who are here to protect Asta. Their arrival worries Mimosa, who is unsure about their intention towards Asta. However, Mars clarifies that as promised, he is here to help. On top of that, Fanzell also reveals that they are on the side of the Clover Kingdom.
They later move to Morris and taunt him about his experiments, which risked human lives. They were startled to have crossed paths with Morris again. Soon, the chapter introduces a new character, Fermena, the Earth’s host spirit and one of the Eight Shining Generals of the Diamond Kingdom. The spirit utters, “You’re a ghost from the past… living beyond your time. These strange modifications, that’s your doing, Morris! But we’ve grown stronger, too.”
But Morris appeared unimpressed, as he regarded Fermena as his greatest achievement. He is later held as Asta’s healing begins. Now, the battle starts. Between Yuno and Lucius, the crowd cheers for the former, infuriating the latter, who says, “Will your people disappear first… or shall we finish our battle?”
Millie Maxwell from the Magic Tool Research Lab makes an announcement, mentioning that her work here and people’s support made her understand Asta’s true ideals. It has been learned that ammunition has been developed by leveraging Asta’s magicless body. This special ammunition works powerfully against Lucius’ footless angels by disabling their ability to use magic for five seconds. Then, when they utilise Rades’ soul corpse magic, they can easily trap souls. Patri, alongside elves, joins the battle while Raia promises to protect humans. At the end of the chapter, Mimosa utters the final words, “Asta-san… you even turned former enemies into allies…!”
