Queen Candelle trained Brook
Based on the spoilers, the chapter focuses on Brook’s past and his actions in the Esperia kingdom. It starts with Brook being enlisted as an apprentice under Queen Candelle. The queen teaches him sword fighting and proper etiquette. In another montage, fans see a close relationship and friendship between Brook and Shuri. Fans also learn that Candelel finds a best friend in Brook and tells him all about her love for Prince Reuven.
Queen Candelle gets sick
The chapter then shifts to a World Government ship arriving in the kingdom of Esperia. Following their arrival, Candelle falls seriously ill. This leads the whole kingdom to drown in sadness and worry. After Canelle recovers from her illness, King Reuven announces he is getting engaged to her.
Esperia’s economy collapses
A mysterious event takes place at Esperia, in which a fog spreads over the kingdom for years. This fog affects the health of citizens and musical instruments, which are important to their economy. This phenomenon causes Esperia’s economy to collapse, resulting in its failure to pay the Celestial tribute. Due to this, the World Government intervenes and demands that the citizens be slaves for compensation.
Shuri stabs King Reuven
King Reuven refuses to give citizens as slaves to the World Government. He declares war on them, leading to the kingdom’s destruction by flames. In the next scene, Brook hurries to the castle to report the destruction, but witnesses Shuri stabbing King Reuven.
