Below are all the movies expected to be a part of Pixar’s upcoming list of releases. This includes new entries like Hoppers and Gatto, as well as much-awaited additions to franchises like Toy Story, Coco, and Incredibles.
Hoppers
The film with the closest release date on schedule is an original from Pixar, titled Hoppers. The movie will follow a society where scientists have discovered how to “hop” human consciousness into lifelike robotic animals. The movie stars some big names like Piper Curda, Jon Hamm, and Bobby Moynihan.
Hoppers will release on March 6, 2026.
Toy Story 5
The sequel to one of the most popular animated franchises of all time, Toy Story 5 will bring back the original setting and voice cast of the previous films. This means that the 2026 film will feature Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Anna Faris, and Ernie Hudson, among others. This time, the movie will explore the consequences of digital tech on playtime, as Bonnie becomes obsessed with her new tablet, Lilypad.
The fifth edition of Toy Story is slated to premiere on June 19, 2026.
Incredibles 3
Another huge entry in the Pixar slate, Incredibles 3 will be directed by Peter Sohn, taking over from director Brad Bird, who helmed the first two installments. While it does not have a release date or plot yet, it will most likely continue the saga from the 2018 film. Cast details are also not available at the moment, but the main voice cast is expected to return.
Disney Pixar announced the film recently with a new logo, and the film is expected to arrive around 2028 or later.
Gatto
Gatto is one of the newest additions to Pixar’s roster. The film will reportedly be set in Venice and will follow a cat named Nero. Luca director Enrico Casarosa and producer Andrea Warren will reportedly lead the project. The film also aims to stun viewers with its hand-crafted visual style.
Gatto will reportedly release on June 18, 2027, but most details about it remain shrouded in mystery.
Coco 2

The much-anticipated Coco 2 is expected to release in theaters in 2029.
Additionally, ComingSoon recently reported that apart from the above titles, there is another mystery movie from Pixar, scheduled to release on March 18, 2028. However, more details on the project are yet to be revealed.
