Holo Iron Man and All-Black Boba Fett Lead Hot Toys Summer Exclusives

Star Wars toy collectors have seen, repeatedly, various all-white Boba Fett figures based on the original screen test armor. It was only a matter of time before an all-black Boba Fett figure would arrive to match. From the War of the Bounty Hunters comic, this Fett variant design features the bounty hunter dressing incognito (apparently a quick paint job fools everyone) to enter arena battles. Fett’s one of two Hot Toys summer exclusive figures announced so far, with the other being holographic Iron Man Mark LXXXV (Avengers Endgame). Cast in metallic blue, it’s meant to resemble a hologram of Tony Stark’s final battle suit.

Both figures will arrive exclusively at select markets and certain conventions for preorder. While not essential variants for strictly movie collectors, they’re the sort of niche variants completists and rarity hunters appreciate. Holographic Iron Man comes in diecast, and per the official description, “features a helmet head with LED-light up function, intricate design of the Iron Man armor reproduced in blue accent with a metallic appearance, LED light-up functions scattered throughout the upper body, back and Arc Reactor on chest, highly-detailed weapons including Nano Lightning Refocuser, energy blade, Katar and a pair of Nano Repulsor Cannons, interchangeable hands, and specially designed figure stand.”

Boba Fett, meanwhile, includes “all-black Mandalorian helmet and armor, a black jumpsuit, a jetpack, a spear, a pair of blaster pistols, a blaster rifle, and a display base!”
