Hot Toys Brings Clone Wars Season 7 Ahsoka to Life With New Figure

No Star Wars character ever had quite the arc that Ahsoka Tano went on with the fans. When she debuted in The Clone Wars animated movie, viewers complained she was the next Jar Jar Binks. But by the time Darth Vader looked upon what he thought were the last traces of her squad, Ahsoka had become the most popular non-live-action female character in the franchise. Her return on Rebels turned into a big event; her forthcoming rumored appearance in The Mandalorian potentially an even bigger one. Hot Toys couldn’t ignore her popularity forever, and have now revealed their rendition of Clone Wars season 7 Ahsoka.

The company known for photo-realistic likenesses don’t yet have an actress to model the portrait on. While various reports say Rosario Dawson will step into the role in live-action, no confirmation from Lucasfilm exists yet. So the company had to adapt a 3-D cartoon, adding perhaps a touch of voice actor Ashley Eckstein. Quite remarkably, they’ve sculpted a Togruta face that really seems to have a life behind those eyes.

Season 7 Ahsoka comes in her more muted, post-Jedi Order outfit, along with a cloak for harsher weather and disguise. Accessories include a thermal detonator, twin lightsabers, and mini holograms of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Yoda. The usual multiple hands allow for different grips on all of these.
