Marvel's upcoming sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier will go into production soon and its primary source of filming will be none other than Cleveland, Ohio. We've learned of one of the filming locations for the film via Daniel from The Daily Superhero. Here are the details:
"This location is the Lorain Road Bridge just down the street from both the Fairview Hospital and Kamm's Plaza, along the city's border....shooting will happen on the bridge and a giant green screen will be placed on the side of the bridge so Marvel Studios can CG a background into the scene(s)."
No word yet on what date the production will be on this location, but anyone in the area should be on the lookout and check back here for any set videos and/or photos from the production. You should also know that there's an opportunity to be an extra in the film if you live in the area. Get all those details by clicking here.
In the film, set to star Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, Maximiliano Hernández, Robert Redford and Georges St-Pierre, the story picks up where Marvel's The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters April 4, 2014.
