A Clip From Batman: Under the Red Hood

Coming to Blu-ray and DVD on July 27

Warner Home Video has released this clip from Batman: Under the Red Hood, coming to Blu-ray and DVD on July 27. In the film, Batman faces his ultimate challenge as the mysterious Red Hood takes Gotham City by firestorm. One part vigilante, one part criminal kingpin, Red Hood begins cleaning up Gotham with the efficiency of Batman, but without following the same ethical code. Killing is an option. And when the Joker falls in the balance between the two, hard truths are revealed and old wounds are reopened.

Included are a featurette titled "Robin’s Requiem: The Tale of Jason Todd," two bonus episodes from "Batman: The Animated Series" Season 1 handpicked by Bruce Timm,  a sneak peek at the next DCU movie, and a Jonah Hex animated short.

Interesting. I will check it out. Sounds like the red hood is Jason Todd!?!? Anyway, Bats was always my favorite at DC, But I still prefer Marvel's storytelling (even if I'd like to hang them sometimes). Wonder what is the trailer included in this DVD...Crisis on 2 earths? At least, DC can make some direct to DVD movies with their properties, something that Warner seems unable to do with live action movies...at least, we are finally going to have a movie other than Bats or Supes...very curious about Green Lantern!

Looks awsome, I'm a huge fan of the Red Hood. Only thing is...I really don't think I like Jensen Ackles voice as the Red Hood, it sounds so forced and campy. Starting to think someone else would have worked out better.
