A Look at the Wonder Woman Costume from George Miller’s Cancelled Justice League Movie

The Wonder Woman costume from George Miller’s Justice League movie

Though Gal Gadot is set to debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and later appear in Justice League: Part One, there once was another Wonder Woman that would have appeared alongside the other heroes of the DCU in a cancelled movie. Before he took us back to the wasteland and to the gates of Valhalla in Mad Max: Fury Road, director George Miller was set to bring the entire Justice League to the screen and he had his entire cast picked out before it was cancelled.

The cast would have included Adam Brody as Barry Allen/The Flash, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Common as John Stewart/Green Lantern, Armie Hammer as Batman, Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman, Hugh Keays as The Martian Manhunter, Jay Baruchel as the film’s villain Maxwell Lord, and Megan Gale as Wonder Woman (Gale also stars in Mad Max: Fury Road). We’ve heard talk of what the film would have been like since, but now we have actual photographs of what Gale’s Wonder Woman costume would have looked like. We found these pictures on Mark Rogers‘ website.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ current plan for Wonder Woman include a solo film (which is currently filming) set for release on June 23, 2017 and Justice League: Part One on November 17, 2017.
