This week’s episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” ended in quite the cliffhanger, revealing an entirely separate clandestine S.H.I.E.L.D. operating in the shadows. A key figure in the organization appears to be Edward James Olmos’ mysterious Robert Gonzales, who you can take a first look at in both the video promo below and in a print ad that ran in the pages of Marvel’s “Star Wars: Princess Leia” #2 this week. Check them both out below!
Titled “Love in the Time of Hydra,” next week’s episode is officially described as follows:
“Coulson and his team are still reeling from a shocking revelation that leaves the team fractured as they must decide what to do with one of their own. Meanwhile, Bobbi and Mack reveal their true allegiance to Hunter, while elsewhere, Ward and Agent 33 embark on a personal mission.”
“Edward James Olmos brings an amazing gravitas to any role he inhabits, something we knew we needed for Robert Gonzales,” said Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb when Olmos was first cast back in January. “When Olmos first appears on our series, everyone will have to take notice–including our favorite Agents.”
Written by Brent Fletcher and directed by Jesse Bochco, “Love in the Time of Hydra” is set to air on March 24. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” airs Tuesdays at 9 P.M. EST. on ABC.
