Spider-Noir Teaser Trailer Shows Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Man TV Show

We now have our first look at Nicolas Cage’s live-action Spider-Man Noir from the upcoming Prime Video series Spider-Noir.

“The series tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero,” a description of the show reads.

Who is Nicolas Cage playing in Spider-Noir?

Cage is playing Spider-Man Noir in the series, a character whom he voiced in animation form in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot are the series co-showrunners. They serve as executive producers alongside Harry Bradbeer, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Bradbeer is directing the first two episodes.

Besides Cage, the main cast of Spider-Noir also includes Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, and Lukas Haas. Other actors include Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, Karen Rodriguez, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, and Andrew Robinson.

A premiere date for Spider-Noir has not yet been announced. However, it is known that the show will first debut in the United States on MGM+ before it then comes to Amazon Prime Video a day later.
