Tuskens, Scoundrels Highlight The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2 Pics

WARNING: This post contains spoilers for The Book of Boba Fett episode 2.

While the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett mostly showed things we already knew or presumed, the second episode went deeper. Delving both deeper into the Mos Espa underworld and Boba’s past with the Tusken Raiders, it introduced more characters fans will surely want as toys. And in one case, seemingly reintroduced a character from the comics. Lucasfilm has yet to confirm officially that the Wookiee bounty hunter revealed is actually Black Krrsantan from the bounty hunter comics, but he looks just like him.

In addition, the episode revealed Boba’s likely arch-rivals for the rest of the series. Jabba’s Hutt cousins, known so far only as the Twins, made a grand entrance. And above and beyond being gross space slugs, they seem to have an extra-creepy relationship. We also met Mos Espa’s mayor, the Ithorian Mok Shaiz, whose name led the Internet to quickly make “Mayor McCheese” jokes.

In this week’s official character poster releases, we see the Twins, Black Krrsantan, and the Tusken tribal elders. Christian Alzmann’s concept art from the end credits features Mayor Shaiz but focuses mainly on the flashbacks. Boba gets his Gaffi stick! Boba inhales a lizard! And of course, teaches the Tuskens to leap across Swoop bikes at high speed.
