The Cast Reacts to Announcement of the Warrior Nun Season 2 Renewal

Well, it seems that Netflix has renowned Warrior Nun for a sophomore season. The first (loose) live-action adaptation of Ben Dunn’s Warrior Nun Areala debuted in July, to generally good notices. The story followed the (mis)adventures of Alba Baptista’s Ava, a 19-year old girl who wakes up with new superpowers after coming back from the dead thanks to a mystical artifact. She then starts fighting together with an ancient order of warrior nuns against demons freshly released from Hell.

In the freshly released video, Warrior Nun showrunner Simon Barry broke the news about the renewal to a surprised Baptista together with some other members of the cast.

“Just in case you needed a lil sunbeam of positivity in your day: watch the Warrior Nun cast get the news that they’ve been renewed for a second season,” reads the caption.
