City Lights Pictures and Intrinsic Value Films will produce Four Women, a thriller based on the graphic novel by Sam Kieth and published by DC Comics, reports Variety. Keith will write the film and also direct starting in February.
The film tells the story of four women who go on a road trip through the desert and get stranded when their car breaks down. Terror ensues after they are picked up by two men in a truck.
City Lights recently produced John Waters’ “A Dirty Shame” and is currently shooting “Tamara,” written by Jeffrey Reddick (“Final Destination”). Intrinsic Value Films’ credits include “XX/XY,” “Brother to Brother” and “Satan’s Little Helper.”
