Lilo & Stitch becomes first Hollywood movie to cross $1 billion this year
Disney’s Lilo & Stitch remake has become the first Hollywood film in 2025 to surpass $1 billion globally.
It has earned $418,186,676 domestically and $589,800,000 internationally, totaling $1,007,986,676 (via Box Office Mojo). The film premiered on May 23 and reached the milestone on its 59th day in theaters. It opened with $146 million and was released in 4,410 theaters at its widest.
I Know What You Did Last Summer, Eddington and Smurfs offer no competition
