Father Gabriel Holds on in The Walking Dead Season 10 Finale Stills

The final battle of the Whisperer War is just a few weeks ahead. To prepare the fans for the Season 10 finale, AMC has dropped a new bundle of promotional pics from the upcoming sixteenth episode of The Walking Dead Season 10. The television network did the same a few days ago, releasing some stills that focused on Daryl and Carol. This time, Father Gabriel takes the floor. In the photos, he can be seen leading the Alexandrians’ defense against the Whisperers. One of the pictures also features the little Cailey Fleming’s Judith Grimes as she says goodbye to Daryl.

Greg Nicotero directed “A Certain Doom,” from a story by  Jim Barnes, Eli Jorné, and Corey Reed. AMC has yet to release an official synopsis for the episode.

The upcoming Season 10 finale will feature the first appearance of the Commonwealth Army. In the comics, the military organization serves as both a military and a police force. The officers of the Commonwealth Army will likely play a pivotal role in the future story. Maybe they will arrive in time to save the Alexandrians from Beta’s horde.

The Walking Dead Season 10 finale airs on AMC on Sunday, Oct. 4. The television network announced six extra Season 10 episodes scheduled for early next year.
