Marina Sirtis Reveals a TNG Reunion on Star Trek: Picard’s Set

Star Trek: Picard will launch next week with a new story for Patrick Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard. The series will also feature the return of a few fan favorites from Star Trek: The Next Generation, including Jonathan Frakes’ Will Riker and Marina Sirtis’ Deanna Troi. Sirtis recently spoke with ComicBook about her return to Star Trek, and she revealed that a few of her former TNG castmates dropped by the set for a visit.

“When Jonathan [Frakes] and I were shooting our episode, LeVar [Burton] and Michael Dorn came to visit and within five minutes of them arriving it got really loud,” explained Sirtis. “A lot of laughter, a lot of jokes, a lot of fun.”

Neither Dorn’s Worf nor Burton’s Geordi La Forge have been confirmed for Picard’s first season. However, Star Trek: Picard did recently get a second season renewal, and the door is open for more classic characters to return. Brent Spiner will once again portray Data in the first season. Additionally, Jeri Ryan will reprise her role as Seven of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager.

Star Trek: Picard will hit CBS All Access on January 23.
