Former Juggernaut Vinnie Jones Joins the Cast of Arrow as Brick

Variety brings word today that former “Juggernaut” (in X-Men: The Last Stand) Vinnie Jones has joined the cast of “Arrow” as supervillain Danny “Brick” Brickwell. Jones will appear in a three-episode arc this season, beginning with episode 10, with his character being described as “a ruthless gang leader who brings Star City’s government to its knees.”

Created by Judd Winick and Phil Hester, Brick was a super strong and super durable metahuman who rose the ranks from enforcer to crime boss. His near indestructible roots will be hinted at on “Arrow” as the character is said to have been shot dozens of times and never gone down.

Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne, and John Barrowman, “Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 P.M. ET/PT on The CW.
